generation of professional shears. The entire shear is laser cut of high
carbon, molybdenum/vanadium stainless steel. This insures long lasting sharp
edges, and perfect balance. The shears are elegantly matte finished, equipped
with a patented double nut interlock blade fastener that prevents the screw
from becoming loose, and enables the user to adjust the blade tension. Your
hand is protected by a cushion of soft, elastomer rubber in the ergonomically
designed, high carbon, stainless steel handles ( no outdated, heavy cast iron
handles!). The professional series is the winner of the 2005 IF Design Award.
Made in Japan, they are ideal for all types of fabrics such as acrylics,
sheers, silks, canvas, dacron and composite sail cloth, denim, fleece, leather,
culinary use, upholstery and drapery fabrics. The Professional 7000 Series is
available in seven different models ranging from 8 inches to 12 inches, and
including a 10 inch true-left handed shear.
